Confining walls with facades of buildings with facades of skies create the facade of city life which is the ultimate facade of all...
Although the architects did a splendid job, nonetheless, if they had designed the lighting into the flooring and reversed the white for the buildings and the blue for the sky, it would have opened up the space dramatically... try turning this upside down in Photoshop and see the huge difference in feeling. Great photo, btw I just did what =Denis-Peterson said about turning this shot upside down and the first words out of my mouth when I saw the difference were: "Holy shit!" He's absolutely correct about how much more open and welcoming the space appears.
Nice work, as always! -- I like the word indolence. It makes my laziness seem classy. Bern Williams the depth is professionally emphasized with the walls. the photoshop editions surely helped the photo a lot
